The SEV Energy app connects over Bluetooth and shows what the BMS sees — state of charge, current, individual cell voltages and any active protection event.

The app is in final testing. Leave your email and we will notify you at launch.
Bluetooth pairing happens once. After that the app reconnects automatically when you are near the battery.
Press the battery switch or connect a charger once to wake the BMS. A new pack ships in transport mode with Bluetooth off.
Open the app and grant the Bluetooth permission. No account or internet connection is required for monitoring.
Tap “+” to scan. Each battery broadcasts its own name and serial number — select the one printed on your battery label.
Voltage, current, power, state of charge and temperature appear within a few seconds.
Data comes straight from the battery BMS over a Bluetooth Low Energy connection. The app stores nothing in the cloud and requires no account.
| Screen | Data |
|---|---|
| Overview | State of charge, pack voltage, charge and discharge current, power, temperature and estimated time to full or empty at the current load. |
| Cells | Individual cell voltages, highest and lowest cell, cell spread in mV and which cells are balancing. A spread under 50 mV is normal. |
| Trends | Voltage, current, SOC and temperature history over 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. |
| Alerts | A timeline of protection events — over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short circuit — with what triggered each one and when it cleared. |
| Settings | Celsius or Fahrenheit, auto-reconnect, battery name, BMS firmware version and Bluetooth address. |
Every SEV Energy battery with Smart BMS and Bluetooth monitoring. Check the model list on the products page — the app cannot connect to batteries without a Bluetooth module.
You do not need to register to monitor a battery.
Readings and history are stored on your phone, not on our servers.
The app uses Bluetooth to talk to the battery. No location tracking.
